How Can I Get Bigger Biceps?
I get the same question thrown at me time and time again, “how can I get bigger biceps?”…
Well there are a couple things you need to do in order to get bigger biceps.
#1. You need to lift heavier weights.
If you are serious about building bigger biceps then you need to put down the light-ass weights and turn up heat a few notches, by this I mean, pick a weight that you can just about do 7-8 reps with, stay on that weight until it becomes to easy and then move up to an even heavier weight.
#2. Make Sure You Are Intaking The Correct Amount Of Calories
Another tip to getting bigger biceps is to make sure you are consuming the right amount of calories. This goes along with every muscle in your body. Your muscles need nutrients in order to grow and get huge! But you need to be consuming the right calories, NOT crappy foods like cheese burgers! Make sure you are getting plenty of protein, complex carbs and simple sugars. These are the things your body needs in order repair itself, grow and energise itself for the next weights session.
Now onto exercises. There are two main exercises that you should focus on.
#1. Concentration Curls
Concentration curls will work on the peak of your muscle and make it come up high.
The second exercise is:
#2. Hammer Curls
Using hammer curls will work your brachialis. The brachialis (brachialis anticus) is a muscle in the upper arm that flexes the elbow joint. It lies deeper than the biceps brachii, and is a synergist that assists the biceps brachii in flexing at the elbow.
Workout both these muscles will help you in getting a bigger bicep.
So start using these exercises with the concentration curls first and the hammer curls second.
With the concentration curls, you should try and do 4 sets of 6-8 reps, followed by 4 sets of 6-8 reps of hammer curls.
These are the only real exercises you will need for biceps because the biceps are one of the smallest muscle on your body and don’t need as much work in order to get big and strong.
Okay, I am almost certain that if you take this advice and use it, you will no longer have to asked the question, “how can I get bigger biceps?”
